Can I use these pens on my chalkboard?
Traditonal chalkboards are made from porous materials such as slate. Liquid chalk will soak into this, and leave messy stains when you try to remove it. Modern chalkboards may be made of enamel instead; as this is non-porous, you can use chalk markers on this. To tell if your board is porous or not, wipe with a damp cloth. A porous board will retain the moisture, while a non-porous board will dry quickly.
