AZURE/POETRY IN BLOOM WASHI TAPE 2 PACK

Using authentic Japanese washi tape paper, metallic foiling and a touch of varnish for protection, our Azure/Poetry in Bloom washi tape set will bring a pop of colour to your bullet journal spread. This double-pack is inspired by two beautiful antique book bindings.

Our Azure design reproduces the elegant gold tooling of the 1688 edition of L'office de la Semaine Sainte on a vibrant blue backround. A Latin liturgical book, this was protected by a gold-plated leather binding and contained the many rites and observances to be followed during the week leading up to Easter, the most important period in the Christian calendar.

Our Poetry in Bloom design, originally crafted by Riviere and Son, centres around a sensitive plant (mimosa pudica) surrounded by chambers containing snowdrops and other richly hued and contrasting flowers, foliage and butterflies. The original binding was used for The Sensitive Plant and Early Poems by Percy Bysshe Shelley and is a celebration of the many moods of the creative spirit.
