Covid Update

8 September: We are very excited to be open again! Delta Level 2 requires a few rules though, so when you are shopping in store please remember to:

- wear a mask if you are 12 years or older;

- socially distance from other shoppers, 2 metres is the required distance;

- scan or sign in.

Our store will look a little different under these level 2 conditions. Our staff will be wearing masks at all times and we will have screens up at all counters.

We are allowed to sell Lotto under level 2, but we ask that you check your tickets at the self-checker and only hand over any winning tickets. If you wish to play your non-winning ticket again, we can do that for you. Also, with Auckland remaining at level 4 for now, we may end up with low Instant Kiwi stock.

Please remember to stay home if you are sick. You can buy online through our website, and we are happy to fulfil phone or email orders.

And lastly, please remember to be kind. This is a stressful time for everyone, and a little kindness goes a long way!

1 September: Athena Books Click & Collect will be located on the left of the back entrance atrium (Bath Street) of South City Shopping Centre. Please wear a mask and follow all instructions to ensure the safety of both you and our staff.

Opening hours have been reduced during level 3, they are currently 10am - 4pm, Monday - Friday.

Please expect delays with deliveries during Level 3 as the postal services will be operating with restrictions and an increase of parcel deliveries during this time. If you live within Christchurch city limits and need an urgent delivery please call or email us to discuss options.

Lotto services will be available once we drop to level 2 and we can open our store to the public again.
